For All Presenters

• Confirm acceptance of your presentation and presentation format by January 23, 2023.
• Acceptance of your abstract dictates that the presenter will register, upload content as detailed below (poster presenters only), attend the live session and/or address questions on your presentation’s chat board at least twice daily during 13-17 March and at least once per week after the Conference as on-demand content and chat boards will be available through 17 April 2023.  
  
• No changes in the title or addition/deletion of authors are permitted without prior written or e-mail permission from the Abstract Review Committee Chairs.
• Reports of the antiviral effect of a novel small-molecule drug are encouraged to include chemical structures, as long as such reporting does not negatively impact the potential development of novel antivirals.
• If you need to change the presenting author for this abstract or withdraw, please notify ICAR Staff as soon as possible at info@isaricar.com.   
• NO PHOTOS ARE PERMITTED DURING ANY ICAR SESSIONS.  This includes all oral, poster, special event, and networking sessions.

Poster Presenters

Poster presenters have the option to present an onsite poster in Lyon and/or a virtual only poster.  All posters will be available on-demand as electronic posters with Q&A available through the virtual platform chat board associated with each poster.  There will be no live Q&A for virtual posters.  There will be two poster sessions onsite in Lyon for those attending in person.  For a poster to be eligible for the Poster Awards, the poster must be presented in person in Lyon.  All on-demand content will be available through 17 April 2023.

ALL accepted poster presenters (onsite and virtual) are required to upload an electronic poster which will be accessible by all registered attendees via the virtual platform.  Please refer to details below for instructions for your onsite poster as well as your virtual poster. Additional details and the upload link will be sent in late January.  The deadline to upload posters is extended to 27 February 2023.

Onsite Posters

• Posters should be formatted to fit the available poster board surface area of 39 inches (1 m) wide by 98 inches (2.5 m) high.

• The Conference provides a small sign designating the ID of the paper to be posted on each board and a small number of push pins for displaying the poster on the board.

• Poster presentation times are below.  Final abstract number ID will be sent in early February.

  Poster Session 1 - Tuesday, 14 March	Poster Session 2 - Wednesday, 15 March
  5:00 - 6:00 PM:  ODD numbered posters	12:15 - 1:15 PM:  EVEN numbered posters
  6:00 - 7:00 PM:  EVEN numbered posters	2:15 - 3:15 PM:  ODD numbered posters

• All posters should be posted on the designated board by 12:00 pm (Noon) on Tuesday, 14 March.

• All posters must be removed no later than 11:00 am on Friday, 17 March.  Posters remaining after the designated poster removal time will be discarded
• As a reminder, all onsite poster presenters are also required to upload their poster for the virtual platform by 27 February.  Please see electronic poster formatting guidelines below.

 Virtual Posters

Electronic Poster Format Guidelines:

*Abstract numbers are posted as a file link in the Speaker/Presenter Resource Center under the "Upload Poster File" task.  The link was also sent via email to all presenters.

**For Onsite Poster Presenters:  The poster board area is 39 inches (1 m) wide and 98 inches (2.5 m) high. It is not necessary to create separate files for the onsite and virtual presentation, but please ensure when you print your onsite poster it meets the poster board dimensions. 

When creating your poster, keep in mind that poster files will be displayed digitally so will be smaller than a regular printed poster.   Please be mindful of the text size, font, images and layout when creating your poster.   Click here to view an example of a poster with excellent use of graphics, color and general layout.

POSTER AWARDS If you indicated during the abstract submission process that you are participating in the Poster Awards, you will receive additional details in mid-February.  You must present your poster in-person to be eligible for the Poster Awards.  Virtual only posters will not be considered for a poster award.  Oral Presenters

Oral sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing by all registered attendees on the virtual platform within 48-hours of the live presentation.   All on-demand content will be available through 17 April 2023.

• Audiovisual technicians will be in the Speaker Ready Room located in the Lumière Lounge and will load your presentation to the conference laptop.  Check in with the technician in the Speaker Ready Room at least 3 hours before your session start time to upload your presentation and to familiarize yourself with the format.

• All presentations will run from a PC laptop using Windows.  If you created your presentation on a Mac, please ensure it will run appropriately on a PC.

• Please use 16:9 as presentation slide format size.

• Slides will be run from one central computer but presenters will be able to control their presentation, as a wireless remote will be provided.  There will be a podium microphone available for your presentation. Remember to speak clearly in order to be easily understood! 

• Remember the time slot allowed for your oral abstract presentation includes time at the end for questions and answers.  A speaker timer will be on the stage to help you gauge the time allotted.   
• • Short oral presentation = 10 minutes (8 minutes for talk + 2 minutes for Q&A)
  • Invited oral presentation = 30 minutes (25 minutes for talk + 5 minutes for Q&A)
• The session chairs will direct questions to you from the in-person audience.
