HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms has been reserved for ICAR2025 attendees at the Palms Casino Resort where all conference sessions will take place. The Palms is located just off the Las Vegas Strip, and is the first resort in Las Vegas fully owned and operated by a Native American Tribe, the San Manuel Gaming & Hospitality Authority. The Palms has a diverse mix of bars, restaurants, and live entertainment venues, along with a cinema, an expansive pool and spa and a 95,000-square-foot reimagined casino.

$99 USD per night for a Signature Room plus tax and $30 resort fee (reduced for ICAR attendees) This rate is valid from Sunday, March 16 through Thursday, March 20. Rate increases to $209 USD if staying Saturday, March 15 or Friday, March 21. Important booking details:
| Please support ICAR2025 by staying at the Conference hotel! The Palms is the official Conference hotel for ICAR2025 and is the center of all conference sessions, events and activities. Staying at the hotel not only allows for easy access to ICAR sessions and multiple dining and entertainment options but also makes a return to your room to check email or make a call fast and easy! But did you also know that booking your room at the Conference hotel helps support ICAR2025 and keep costs down for attendees? In return for the use of the hotel’s meeting facilities for free, ISAR guarantees that a certain percentage of attendees will stay in the hotel, at the negotiated reduced rates. If ISAR does not meet the contracted sleeping room commitment, ISAR must pay the hotel for the unused rooms. These financial penalties for unfilled rooms then end up hurting not only the current year’s ICAR, but future ICARs as well, as our ability to negotiate the best contract terms and hotel rates is weakened. The end result is that ISAR won’t be able to keep the ICAR registration fees as low as they are . Please note that we are NOT increasing the registration fees from last year’s values despite the current inflation rate. What if we don't contract for sleeping rooms? Simply put, sleeping room rates would be higher for attendees and ISAR would incur into significantly higher additional expenses for meeting room rental fees, resulting in higher conference registration fees. Note: You may find that internet brokers such as Orbitz or Kayak may offer a few rooms in their inventory at a lower price than the conference is offering. There are often date restrictions and penalties associated with these rates, and often these are the least desirable rooms. Nonetheless, if you do somehow obtain a better rate than the one offered by the Conference, your room nights will still be counted toward our contracted sleeping room block. |
